Dizzy Daisy – a cult Kraków hostel with character
Dizzy Daisy Downtown was one of the first hostels in Kraków. Since its opening in 2004, it continues to be one of the most popular such locations. Thousands of Guests have visited us over the past 19 years – some of them keep coming back – because we know exactly what to do to make your stay in Kraków as pleasant and special as it can be.
Our location
The hostel is located at ul. Pędzichów, in a recently renovated and innovatively refurnished three-storey 19th-century tenement. Despite being in the very centre of Kraków, this is a quiet area. Dizzy Daisy Downtown is the perfect starting point for tours of the city and the region because most of the local monuments are within walking distance. If you are planning to go somewhere farther away, there is a tram stop right next to the hostel.
Food
Our Guests can take advantage of a fully equipped kitchen to prepare the meal of their choice. You can also enjoy tea or coffee from our drip maker. There are several bakery and pastry shops nearby where you can get a delicious and diverse breakfast.
Other conveniences
The entire building has Wi-Fi service. You can also take advantage of our baggage storage room before you check in or after you check out, the washing machine, mechanical dryer, iron, and hairdryer without any additional charges. The cosy common room is furnished with comfortable armchairs and couches, which you can use to watch TV or DVDs, play cards or board games, read a book, or enjoy the company of people from all over the world.
Reception desk
Our reception desk is open 24/7 and our English-speaking receptionists are ready to assist you at any time of day or night. We know the city and can help you get airline transfers and sightseeing tours. We will also direct you to the best clubs and events and can help you find the best places, theatres, and galleries to learn about Kraków.
Tours
We have a special offer for Guests interested in seeing the Kraków region: an extensive range of trips to Zakopane, Wieliczka, Wadowice, and other beautiful locations of Lesser Poland. We recommend a trip to the Auschwitz Museum, a cycling tour of Kraków, and a trip back in time to the Polish People’s Republic in Nowa Huta.
Staying with children
We are always open to families with children. Our youngest Guests can sleep in a baby crib, which we can put in any room on request. There is a fun playground near the hostel in the Planty Park. It’s perfect to spend your sunny days. If it happens to rain, you can always get a board game from the reception desk.
